WINTER CLASS - Figure Modeling Clay Sculpture

Our Winter Evening Class is here! SOLD OUT!!!

Thursday 10 Week Evening Class 6:00PM - 10:00PM

Utilizing the live model, students will learn the fundamental steps to successfully create a figure in clay though observational techniques. Students will complete works that will be fired and then later finished to create impressive interpretations. Tools provided. First bag of clay free. Includes a finishing workshop.

TIN FABRICATION WORKSHOP STILL ACCEPTING STUDENTS

In this 2 day workshop students design initial paper templates in order to successful create a sculpture in sheet metal. A spot welder will be used to connect metal in creative and permanent ways, a variety of surface treatments of the metal will also be explored including painting and etching options for different effects. Sculptures ideal for outside display. All materials and lunch provided 10AM-4PM

PAPER CLAY WORKSHOP STILL ACCEPTING STUDENTS

This workshop utilizes light weight materials and air dry processes, students will create a sculpture using a cardboard and tape armature and will learn to make and work with paper clay. The lightweight material is ideal for larger wall constructions as well as 3 dimensional pieces. All materials, tools, lunch and beverages included. Come and go Ok.

FARMHOUSE LIVE ANIMAL DRAWING DAY AND LUNCH

FARMHOUSE LIVE ANIMAL DRAWING DAY AND LUNCH

This full day rural experience allows students to come to the country to learn to draw a variety of farm animals from life while enjoying a farm and studio environment, gourmet farmhouse lunch as well as new drawing and observational approaches. On site applicable reference material and walking tutorial provided to understand the anatomy of animals to better apply that knowledge to memory. All drawings supplies, onsite seating etc, critter snacks, food and drink provided. 9:30 AM – 4:00PM

This workshop will be a 2 day investigation into portraiture utilizing an older model with distinctive features and hairlines. Saturday and Sunday from 10- 4pm. Works will be created on armatures conducive to bisque firing, utilizing a live model as well as the correct uses of reference material will be applied to successful understand how to make portraiture from reference materials as well.

Come and go ok. 1 bag of clay, firing and lunch/beverages included.
